Hi Friends! It's Friday! Woohoo! How exciting is that?! Well, today is my day to post over at
My Cricut Craft Room. Today is Scrapbook Friday and we could choose from a dance or sport layout, so I made a ballet layout to share with you all today. My daughter had been in ballet class since last fall and she recently had her first recital. Here's what I came up with~
For this 12x12 layout I used Echo Park Hello Summer papers that I bought from Erica's ustream sale. I used the CTMH Art philosophy Cricut cartridge for the title. I cut the letters at 1 inch. The little ballerina I cut using Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge. I cut her and all of the layers at 4 inches. I drew her little face and colored her nails to look painted. I used 3GJ crinkle ribbon for the pretty bows. I glued the photo down leaving a space to tuck a little journal card underneath. I glued a small photo on the back of that. I added some buttons, inked edges, and fussy cut the scalloped paper strip to add some fun details. Here's the ballerina closer up~
