100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop with My Cricut Craft Room

Hello! Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop Day ONE

If you stopped by from your dashboard please start here at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ so you don't miss out on any of the fun projects!

Collectively the design team uses over 100 different Cricut Cartridges in their projects during the two days of this hop! There is so much talent and inspiration and PRIZES!! Erica is giving away 3 different prizes to 3 separate winners this month! One prize will be TPC Girlfriends pink papers,  one will be the Pink Journey Cricut cartridge,  and one will be a pink little cricut toy. Oh did I mention, we are going pink for breast cancer awareness this month?

Each of our projects will have pink somewhere even if it's on the back or covered up. This month each of the design team members had to choose 4 Cricut cartridges to use. I chose~

1. Cars
2. Dreams Come True
3. Disney Classics
4. Sesame Street Seasons

Here are my projects I made to share~

For this little gift bag I used the Cars cartridge and cut the peace sign out at 4 inches. The patterned paper is by Amy Tangerine. I used stickers by K & Co and the gray ribbon was in my ribbon stash.

For this card I used the Dreams Come True cartridge. I cut the cake out at 4 inches and the patterned papers are by Amy Tangerine. I used a K. Andrew Designs stamp for the sentiment and added some pretty pink twine.

For this card, I used the Disney Classics cartridge to cut the pirate ship. I cut the ship out at 4 inches and the monkey is a stamp by Stampendous and so is the sentiment. I hand cut the sun and added  stardust stickles, black twine,  and some gray gun metal embellies by Want 2 Scrap. I added a pink heart on the back of this card with my initials for my added pink.

For this last card I used the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge to cut the pretty snowflake. I inked the edges and used some stickles for some extra sparkle. The patterned papers are the Echo Park Very Merry Christmas collection. I used a border punch for polka dotted strip and added some red twine. The inside of this card says "Joy". The stamps are by Close To My Heart. I also added a pink heart to the back of this card with my initials on it.

I hope you like my projects today! Thanks so much for coming by and for hopping with us today!!

    Disney Week Post 6~Smash Pages

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you have had a good week and hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. I have another all day crop tomorrow. My friend Jackie owns a business and once a month she has a crop at her office for a large group of friends (including me). It's always a fun day of crafting, eating, and catching up on the latest gossip! :)

So, I'm kind of ticked off today because I lost my Mickey Mouse stamp set. I had it last weekend at a crop and I wanted to use it the last 2 days and it's not anywhere!! I guess that means it's time to clean uo my craft room a little. Does this ever happen to you? I usually NEVER lose anything so this has really got me stumped!

Today I have a couple of smash pages to share with you. I use my smash books as stress free scrapbooking. No rules..I just throw what I want in there and call it done. I use it for all of my left over pictures after doing my 12x12's, use scrap papers, and random stickers and things I just have laying around. My scrapbooking junk drawer! lol

Here are the pages I made using a photo of my son Eli and a list of things he liked at age 6. He just turned 7, so I love to write down things my kids loved at a certain age and see how they change. He loves Mickey Mouse and I planned on stamping Mickey and Friends on the pages but that didn't work out. He does love the movie Cars and Lightning McQueen so that's where this will fit in for my Disney Week participation. :)

So, that's my project for today. Wish me luck on finding that stamp set! lol

    Have a great weekend!

    Hugs,
    HL

P.S. I bought my first stamp set by K.Andrew called Owly Hoo. I LOVE owls and this set is so cute! You should check out her 2 day sale over at her blog called Getting Cricky with K Andrew!
