Boo Whoo Blog Hop- MCCR

Welcome to the My Cricut Craft Room's Boo Whoo Blog Hop!

If you just happened to come by to visit please start at the beginning at My Cricut Craft Room

Today we are sharing projects with either a Boo (Halloween) or a Whoo (an owl) or BOTH!  We have a fun and fabulous line up today so you won't want to miss a thing!  Two lucky people that hops all the way through, leaves comments, and is a follower of My Cricut Craft Room~ will one a Cricut cartridge! Erica's Craft Room is sponsoring the Teresa Collins Chic & Scary Cricut cartridge and the Pumpkin Carvings Cricut cartridge. How awesome is that?!

Here is the 12x12 layout that I made to share with you today.

For my little monsters I used the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge. It is such a cute cartridge. If you don't have it yet you can purchase that HERE. All of the patterned papers are from a DCWV Halloween stack. I used some DCWV glitter paper and lots of star dust stickles on my little layout today. The little trick or treat saying was cut from a patterned paper.  The fibers I got from Erica. The other misc. pieces are by K & Company. The photos are of Ryelynn, my daughter that was born on Oct. 26, 2011 so she was just 5 days old on Halloween last year. Boy, does time fly! Here are a couple of more photos of my layout.

Then, a while back I went to Goodwill and found this little paper holder thingy for 35 cents.

I thought it  would work really well to hold up a layout to take a picture of it. It was all plain and ugly so I decided to make it cute. Here is what it looks like now...

I used the DCWV Halloween papers for this project, too. The owl I cut out at 6 inches from the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge. The die cut for the title I cut out at 4 inces and the title letters I cut at 1 inch. (All from Artiste) The other little diecuts are all my K & Company. This was a quick and easy project. I love to find things cheap and make them cuter!!

That's my projects for today. I hope you like them! Thanks so much for stopping by and hopping today! We all really appreciate it! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge

Happy Thursday, friends! The weekend is getting closer! What do you all have planned for the weekend? We are going to an apple orchard to the Johnny Appleseed Festival. We go every year and I can not wait to get an apple fritter! lol They have the best ones at Mapleside Farms. Yummmy!

So, today I made a little project for the Facebook challenge over at Fresh Brewed Designs.  They have a blog hop coming up this weekend! You won't want to miss it! The link to the Facebook event is HERE!

The challenge I am entering requires you to do something "EXTRA". If you make a card, it has to have an extra fold, or you have to decorate the inside, or something extra. I decided to make a little 3D purse/treat holder/gift bag. I'm going to put a couple of small fall stamp sets inside and give it to a friend. Here it is..

I used the CTMH Artise Cricut cartridge and cut the little bag out at 3 1/4 inches. I used DCWV glitter cardstock for the purse and background orange paper. I colored the cute FBD digi image with EK Success colored pencils. Then I used stardust Stickles over the top for some added sparkle and fun! I only glued the image on the top part of the flap so the whole cute pumpkin house lifts up so you can put goodies inside. That's it!

The other day I received some goodies from Yolanda that I had won from the last Fresh Brewed Designs Blog Hop. Included in the goodies were some really fun muslin bags. Yolie had stamped on one and colored it in for that hop so I borrowed her idea. I used the Fresh Brewed Designs "Crafty Girl" stamp. I love her..she is so cute! I already posted this on Facebook but wanted to share here for all of my bloggie friends that I do not have on Facebook. Here it is~

I added a strip of fabric and twine and a homemade fabric flower  to the bottom with a glue gun. I added a few star buttons and some glitter and it's done! Hope you like it!!

I hope you like my projects I have to share today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather Lynn

Easter Card with Mr.Cricut Crazy's Stamps

Hi all! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a very busy one and didn't have any time to create anything. Saturday was the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Cleveland and then a party after that. Sunday was another beautiful day so I took my daughters to the zoo. So, recently I ordered stamps from Mr.Cricut Crazy and I got them in the mail Saturday. They are so cute! I used them to make my daughter an Easter card..she wanted a pink bunny! Tanner aka Mr.Cricut Crazy has his stamps on sale until midnight tonight. Please go check them out! :)  For the card I used the stamps, misc. papers from my stash and some twine. I cut out the butterflies from a piece of patterned paper, I hand cut the fringe for the grass, and used some  stickles. Hope you like my quick little card! I hope you all have a great week!! Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
HL
