Shrooms and Blooms Blog Hop

Welcome to the Shrooms and Blooms Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Jenn's Blog, then you are on the right track! If you just stopped by and would like to start at the beginning, please go back to Jenn's Blog.

We are so happy to have you join us today! You won't want to miss out on any of these whimsical mushroom projects!

One grand prize winner will win a the goodies pictured at your first stop (Jenn's Blog)! Please be a follower and leave a comment at all of the stops in the hop for the chance to win. There will also be other blog candy along the way! Make sure you return to Jenn's Blog and link up to be in the drawing for the goodies :)

For my first project, I made a quick little card.

I started off with Kraft cardstock and then used some patterned papers from the Bo Bunny Apple Cider collection. I stamped right on a printed paper, then colored in parts of the image with Copic markers. I inked all of the edges with Vinatge Photo Distress Ink then added some little hearts and twine and voila..it's done. The stamp is a Itty Bitty by Unity that my friend Jessica gave. Thanks, Jess!

Here's my next project that I made to share.

For this project I started with a 35 cent wood frame that I picked up at Goodwill. I painted it with acrylic paint and then glitter blasted it with Krylon Glitter Blast Spray Paint. I used the Paisley Cricut cartridge to cut the mushroom and "totally". The little flowers are made from felt and were in my stash. The sentiment stamp is by K. Andrew Design from the set "Owly Hoo". I pop dotted the butterfly for extra dimension.

Thank you so much for hopping with us today! I know you will get lots of inspiration from this list of talented crafters!

    Craft Your Passion-GDT-November

Happy Monday crafty friends! Hope your week is getting off to a good start! I am honored to announce that I will be the guest designer for the month of November for the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog! I want to thank Jenn and her design team for having me! I am very excited to be joining you talented ladies!

This week is Challenge #135 and the theme is HEXAGONS. There are a couple of sponsors for this challenge and the digi stamp that I chose to work with this week is by Stamp Fairy. The cute little image that I worked with is called "Lionel". Love him! Here is my card..
I started with a black cardstock for my card base, then added a piece of burnt orange cardstock. I then stamped the hexagons using a stamp by CTMH. I then added my image that I colored using a variety of Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment "Thank you" and added some polka dot Smash tape. I layered some flowers and added a brad to hold them together and added it on to my card. Last, but not least, I added some bling to finish it off. That's it!

Hope you like my card for today! Please be sure to head over to the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog and see the other inspiration by the design team and join in this fun challenge!

    Enjoy your day!
    Heather Lynn
