"Owl Made by my Friends" Showcase & GIVEAWAY!

Hello! Welcome to the "Owl Made by my Friends" Showcase today. As you all know, I love owls. I have my Owl hops every season and have wonderful friends that join in. I thought it would be fun to showcase some of my friends' owl creations in between my hops. Altered Clipboard and Huge Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Hope you all are having a good week! Today I have a altered clipboard to share with you and some info on a HUGE giveaway! I went to goodwill a while back and found a  new clipboard for 35 cents. I snagged it up knowing I could do something with it. Here's what I came up with..

I used my new CTMH Artist Cricut cartridge for the cute owl. I cut it out at 6 inches. I used Bo Bunny SWEET TOOTH patterned papers, vintage photo ink, some ribbon, a flower, and brad. The stamp is an Itty Bitty by Unity that my friend Jessica gave me.  That flower was white and I inked it to match my project. The clip was also white so I added some staz on ink to that to make it not stand out so much. I think it turned out pretty cute! Here's another view.

A little "thank you" giveaway!!!

Hey bloggie friends! I hope your week is going well so far! I was organizing in my craft room tonight and decided I have some extra ribbons, lace, floss, etc that I would like to give away~to one of my sweet followers~ just to say thank you! There are all different colors, sizes, kinds..so a bunch of randomness! I am also going to add in a baggie of misc. button goodness!

Thank You's, Fun Finds, and a GIVEAWAY!!!!

Hi Crafty Friends! Hope you all had a good weekend! Mine was pretty good. Went to a crop on Saturday, a bowling Birthday party for my daughter's little friend yesterday and then shopping. Whoo hoo!

So today, I want to say "thank you" to 3 Girl Jam for the beautiful hand dyed crinkle ribbon I recieved in the mail Saturday! I won it during the blog hop last weekend on their facebook page. Look at this ribbon..

Next, I want to say "Thanks so much" to Carri at DoubleClick- AKA Abusybee for the Domino Cuttlebug folder, embossed paper, and card! I won some blog candy at her blog recently during an embossing blog hop she was involved it. Here's a picture of what she sent..

Now, I want to show you the cool cheap stuff I found yesterday while thrift store shopping! I found this for $2!!!!

Here is what I did with it..

It's my new scrap organizer thingy! lol This is only some of my scraps..it's out of control! I can never find what I am looking for so I cut a new piece. I sure hope this helps!

Next, I found this ribbon for just $2!

Then this huge spool of cream colored embroidery floss stuff for just $1..

I also found this 11 1/4 inch doily for 35 cents..

So, for the organizer, ribbon, floss, and doily it was $5.35! AWESOME!
