Expresso Yourself-National Coffee Day

Good evening! It's me for the 3rd time today! You getting sick of me yet? lol I got a few minutes to make another challenge card for Fresh Brewed Designs Blog. Today is National Coffee Day in case you missed my last post and there is a fun challenge and sale going on for today only! Here's my card. It's a very quick and easy one!
Here's a closer look.
For my card, I started with kraft cardstock. (My favoritest cardstock ever!) Then, I stamped my "Love Mug" stamp twice on another piece of cardstock and fussy cut just the mug out. (It also has a muffin next to it originally.) I colored the mugs with my Copic markers and pop dotted them on my card. I then stamped the sentiment "Expresso Yourself and the added some washi tapes. That's it! I hope you like it!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Head on over to FBD Challenge blog if you'd like to enter the challenge, but hurry, it's today only!

Well, it is~ so Happy Coffee Day to you all! :) My friend Heather over at  Fresh Brewed Designs Blog is having a challenge and big sale just for today! She has the cutest stamps! The stamp is called "Love Mug" isn't it super cute? I colored it in with my Copics. I used a smash paper clip, some pea pod "The Twinery" twine, and a few buttons for added cuteness. I used a corner chomper for the corners and distress ink on all of the edges. That's it!

I hope you like my card for today! Thanks so much for stopping by! If you'd like to enter the challenge head on over to Fresh Brewed Blog! I'd also like to enter this card into Challenge number 129 over at Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog called "Buttons and Bows"!

Hey There Sweet Thing! FBD Challenge

Hi friends! It's almost Friday! That means the weekend is getting closer! :) I have some fun things planned for the weekend including a festival and parade. What do you all have planned? Tonight I have a project I made to enter into the challenge over at Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge is photo inspiration and the photo is of a bunch of apples. Here is what I came up with..

I made a cute little gift bag! I used the FBD "hot cuppa Joe" stamp. Isn't he handsome? If you'd like to buy him, you can do that HERE. I used copics to color in the stamped image and I popped him up with pop squares. I used the Country Life Cricut cartridge to cut out the tree. The patterned paper if from a DCWV Christmas stack. The other papers are just misc. pieces from my scrap pile. The Mocha Latte Brown twine is also from Fresh Brewed Designs and you can buy that HERE. I also used my Fiskars scalloped border punch and Vintage photo distress ink and some other stamps for the sentiment. Inside the gift bag I added..
Apple cider packets. How fun is that?! Here's a side view of my bag. You can see the colors better..it's dark right now and my camera isn't taking great pictures.

I hope you like my little gift bag tonight! You can head over to Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog if you'd like to see the rules and enter the challenge, as well! I am going to draw a name for my owl hop tomorrow. I have to go through and make sure the winner followed all of the rules. As always, thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate it!! :)

Wake up & smell the ...coffee truck!!

Good evening, friends! I have a quick post to share with you all tonight. There is a new challenge over at 3 Girl JAM Challenge Blog! As you all know, I love 3GJ crinkle ribbon! Well, this month's challenge is called Coffee and Ribbons! 3GJ teamed up with my friend Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs and you can win some digi's and some ribbon so I just had to enter because I love both! Here's my card!
I started with kraft cardstock as it is my favorite! I used my photo corner chomper for all of the edges of my card. I just used some misc. papers from my stash and scrap pile. I inked all of the edges with vintage photo distress ink because I love it! The stamp is called "Coffee Truck" by Fresh Brewed Designs. I used copic markers to color the stamped image. The 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon colors I used are cherry lipstick and antique white. I added a couple of misc. embellishments to finish it off. The wake up & smell the coffee sentiment is from a stamp set my friend gave me and it didn't have a brand name on it...sorry. I hope you all like my card tonight!

Thanks so much for stopping by! You should head over to 3GJ Challenge Blog and make something to enter, too! Have a great night!

Card Creating Tuesday with My Cricut Craft Room

Hi crafty friends! Hope you all are having a good week so far. Today is my day to post as a design team member with My Cricut Craft Room. It's Card Creating Tuesday and I was to make a Christmas card and include pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. We know it's a little early but we like to stay a little ahead so you have time to get inspiration and create something yourself~ if you like what you see. This is what I have created to share with you today...

For this card I used A Quilted Christmas Cricut Cartridge and cut Santa out at 4 inches. I covered him with Stardust Stickles (because I love glitter)! I used pop dots behind Santa for extra dimension. The stamp I borrowed from Erica and I can't remember what company it is from. I used white and green cardstock from Joann and the red paper is by Martha Stewart, as well as the tag. I added some cute ribbon and a few buttons and that's it. Cute and simple cards are my favorite. Here are a couple more photos.
And remember..we had to use pink! I used mine on the inside. Sorry for the blurry picture here.

So that's my little project for today. I hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by! Please be sure to visit My Cricut Craft Room to see other projects like this!

Hugs,
Heather Lynn

If you have come from  Jennie's Blog blog you are on the right track. If you stopped by from your dashboard, please start at the beginning HERE at Lisa's fun blog!

For my project I am featuring my two favorite stamp sets  "Hooty Owl" and "Owly Hoo Sentiments".

Here is what I made to share~
I used the K.Andrew stamps, as mentioned above. I used my CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge to make the little purse and I cut it out at 4 1/2 inches.  The patterned papers are from the DCWV Celebrations stack. I used green glitter paper and a piece of white cardstock from my scrap pile for the die cuts and the little banners. I inked all of the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I tied on some peapod twine from The Twinery and added some glitter glue. (The die cuts were cut at 2 3/4 and 3 inches from the same cartridge.) Hope you like my project tonight!

Everything is better with...

Hi crafty friends! Hope all is well with everyone! It's rainy and gloomy here today..good day for crafting. :) Today, I have a card to share with you. It's different than my usual card. Here it is~

For my card I used Fresh Brewed Designs stamp called "Love Mug". I started with a piece of yellow cardstock, then scored and folded my card. I stamped and colored in the image with EK Success archival colored pencils. I inked/distressed the edges and placed it on a cute piece of pink patterned paper, then inked those edges. I glued the image down to just the left side of the card so I could still open the flap. Next, I took a piece of brown patterned paper and used my border punch, then added it along the bottom of the card. I glued and tied some ribbon around then tied a bow to hold the card closed. I added some buttons for added cuteness. I inked all of the edges of my card. On the inside I added the word coffee and some more matching papers from the front of my card. That's it! I think it turned out pretty cute. Here are a few more pictures~

I hope you like my card today! I am entering this into 2 challenges. Fresh Brewed Designs Distressing Challenge and Craft Your Passion BINGO Challenge. I used yellow, border punch, buttons. Thank you so very much for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your day!

Heather Lynn

My IMAGINE ation Monday with MCCR

Hi friends! How is everyone today? I hope you all had a great weekend! Today is My IMAGINE ation Monday with My Cricut Craft Room and it's my day to post. We could choose to either use Imagine cartridges or go with the Letter Of the Day. I chose The Letter of the Day and the letter is "L'! Here is my project to share~

For my layout I used the Life's a Party Cricut cartridge. I made this layout for my boyfriend, as he turned 40 recently. I printed pictures of him at the party but it got lost among my 72,000 photos in my craft room. lol I will find it...eventually! I cut the large orange, black, and yellow die cut and all of it's layers at 10 1/2 inches. Then I put them together and put them on a piece of white cardstock. The black "The big 40" was cut at 4 inches. I added some fun imaginesce stickers to the page and added a double matted place for a photo and added some twine. This fun page came together really fast!

I hope you like my Life's a Party layout today! Please be sure to visit My Cricut Craft Room to see what my talented design team sisters have made to share! Hope you have a great week!

CYP~ All Sport Blog Hop Challenge

Hi friends! How was your Saturday? Mine was busy but fun! We went to a fall festival today and did a whole lot of walking. Whew, feels good to be sitting! lol I came home and made a project to enter in the Craft Your Passion All Sport Blog Hop Challenge. You have to make a sports themed project and it has to have at least one star on it! So, that's what I did! Here's my card!

For my card I used kraft cardstock. Then DCWV orange glitter cardstock, some brown cardstock, and some white. I used my Life's A Party Cricut cartridge to cut the football and I cut it out at 2 inches. I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to emboss the football. I added some brown twine and a rub on. Then last but not least a little chipboard star. I inked all of the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. That's it! I hope you like my little card!

If you have some time to craft you should head over to Craft Your Passion and do the fun and inspirational All Sport Blog Hop and make something to enter in to the challenge. You only have until tomorrow night! Thanks so much for stopping by!

BLAST FROM THE PAST-Craft Your Passion Challenges

Hello! I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday morning! I am headed out to a festival in a bit with the family. What are you all doing today? I wanted to enter in the #127 "BLAST FROM THE PAST" Challenge over at the Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog. You are able to choose any past challenge except for an Anything Goes challenge. I chose to go with challenge #89 "Things With Wings". Of course I made something with an owl.. You already knew that, didn't ya? he hee Here's my card~

For my card I started out with Kraft cardstock. I then added a layer of white and orange cardstock and used my corner chomper for all of the corners. I used my Cricut for the gray diecut. The cute little owl stamp was a gift from Jessica for my Birthday. Isn't he sweet?! The sentiment is a CTMH stamp that came with the Artiste Cricut cartridge. I used my EK Success archival colored pencils to color in all of the the stamped images. Last but not least added some pretty aqua tulle. I think it turned out pretty cute. I really like cute but simple cards.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today! If you would like to enter the challenge over at Craft Your Passion, head on over! :) This challenge ends tomorrow! Have a great weekend everyone!

Scrapbook Friday with MCCR

Hello crafty friends! Happy Friday to you all! Today is my day to post for My Cricut Craft Room! It is Scrapbook Friday and today I was to use 4 photos on a layout. I went ahead and made a 2 page 12x12 spread with 8 photos all together. My friend Jessica  and I met several months ago on Facebook and and started following each others' blogs and then found out we were only an hour away from each other! We have been inseparable ever since! lol We hang out at least once a week and have so much fun! We felt like we had known each other forever instantly. Our children all just melded right away, too! (We have 10 between the 2 of us!!) I just love it!! So, I took pictures from one of our playdates and that is what I used for my project today.  Here is what I came up with~

Please click on photos to enlarge!

For my layouts I used the CTMH Artiste cartridge for all of the cuts. Everything was just cut at various sizes for a cute, fun layout. The papers I used was from my stash and had no name anywhere on them but I loved the colors and designs. I used border punches for the bottoms of some of the strips under the photos. I put initials by most of the pictures of the kids. The journaling I did with my blue Smash pen which I LOVE! It dries so fast and never smears! Here are a couple more views of my pages~

I hope you like my layouts today! Please visit My Cricut Craft Room to see more projects like these made by my talented design team sisters!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge

Happy Thursday, friends! The weekend is getting closer! What do you all have planned for the weekend? We are going to an apple orchard to the Johnny Appleseed Festival. We go every year and I can not wait to get an apple fritter! lol They have the best ones at Mapleside Farms. Yummmy!

So, today I made a little project for the Facebook challenge over at Fresh Brewed Designs.  They have a blog hop coming up this weekend! You won't want to miss it! The link to the Facebook event is HERE!

The challenge I am entering requires you to do something "EXTRA". If you make a card, it has to have an extra fold, or you have to decorate the inside, or something extra. I decided to make a little 3D purse/treat holder/gift bag. I'm going to put a couple of small fall stamp sets inside and give it to a friend. Here it is..

I used the CTMH Artise Cricut cartridge and cut the little bag out at 3 1/4 inches. I used DCWV glitter cardstock for the purse and background orange paper. I colored the cute FBD digi image with EK Success colored pencils. Then I used stardust Stickles over the top for some added sparkle and fun! I only glued the image on the top part of the flap so the whole cute pumpkin house lifts up so you can put goodies inside. That's it!

The other day I received some goodies from Yolanda that I had won from the last Fresh Brewed Designs Blog Hop. Included in the goodies were some really fun muslin bags. Yolie had stamped on one and colored it in for that hop so I borrowed her idea. I used the Fresh Brewed Designs "Crafty Girl" stamp. I love her..she is so cute! I already posted this on Facebook but wanted to share here for all of my bloggie friends that I do not have on Facebook. Here it is~

I added a strip of fabric and twine and a homemade fabric flower  to the bottom with a glue gun. I added a few star buttons and some glitter and it's done! Hope you like it!!

I hope you like my projects I have to share today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather Lynn
