Disney Week Post 6~Smash Pages

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you have had a good week and hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. I have another all day crop tomorrow. My friend Jackie owns a business and once a month she has a crop at her office for a large group of friends (including me). It's always a fun day of crafting, eating, and catching up on the latest gossip! :)

So, I'm kind of ticked off today because I lost my Mickey Mouse stamp set. I had it last weekend at a crop and I wanted to use it the last 2 days and it's not anywhere!! I guess that means it's time to clean uo my craft room a little. Does this ever happen to you? I usually NEVER lose anything so this has really got me stumped!

Today I have a couple of smash pages to share with you. I use my smash books as stress free scrapbooking. No rules..I just throw what I want in there and call it done. I use it for all of my left over pictures after doing my 12x12's, use scrap papers, and random stickers and things I just have laying around. My scrapbooking junk drawer! lol

Here are the pages I made using a photo of my son Eli and a list of things he liked at age 6. He just turned 7, so I love to write down things my kids loved at a certain age and see how they change. He loves Mickey Mouse and I planned on stamping Mickey and Friends on the pages but that didn't work out. He does love the movie Cars and Lightning McQueen so that's where this will fit in for my Disney Week participation. :)

So, that's my project for today. Wish me luck on finding that stamp set! lol

Have a great weekend!

P.S. I bought my first stamp set by K.Andrew called Owly Hoo. I LOVE owls and this set is so cute! You should check out her 2 day sale over at her blog called Getting Cricky with K Andrew!

  1. Awwww! I HATE when that happens! I say its cause my craft room looks like a bomb went off in it after 1 project, and hubby says its cause I have TOO MUCH STUFF...?!?!? Does he know that just sounds INSANE?? LOL!!!

Anyway, your smash pages are SUPER CUTE!!! LOVE them!! That McQueen is awesome :)

    Crafty Hugs,

  2. What a cool thing to do!! And what an awesome page you made! I'm sure when he grows up and looks back at the pages you have made him he will love it!! :) And congrats on your first set of K Andrew Stamps... I love all of mine!! Just beware they can be quite addicting! LOL! Enjoy your weekend!! Love looking at all your cool projects!

  3. What a seriously awesome idea! Their "likes" change so much at this age - it's nice to have a record of their favs. I hope you find your stamps and have a blast at your crop!

  4. What great pages. I haven't even thought about using a smash book, but it seems like you can do a lot. Might need to explore some more.

Good luck finding your stamp. You know it will come up.: )

    Thanks for stopping by,

  5. Fantastic pages!! Love the photos and Lightning McQueen!! :)

  6. Super fun pages! Sorry to hear you lost your stamp set, but glad to hear you found it lol! I lost my Tim Holtz scissors I could not find them anywhere! I finally went out and bought another pair only to find my first pair in the laundry room! I still have no idea how they ended up there! Happy Weekend!

  7. Love the idea of a smashbook! How cool. This page is so adorable. Thanks for promoting K. Andrew Designs! You are going to love them!!

  8. Your smash book pages are wonderful. Hope you find your stamps soon...yes, it happens to us all I am sure. I lost one of my most favorite sentiment stamps and have yet to retrieve it. It probably made its way into a dusty corner somewhere...LOL!
